I'm home!
Well, nextdoor at any rate. Currently I'm sitting crosslegged on the couch in Hannah's cramped living room, with the television on, enjoying the serenity of a day free of homework, classes, work, and even the drama of dorm life. Dave pulled his SUV into my driveway the night before last, where we were greeted by a gigantic hug from Hannah and the warm fuzzy glow of Christmas lights. Dad and Mom came tiptoing out to give me a hug as well, and Roy awoke from his station on the couch (he's ill) to offer a drugged smile before dozing off again. Yesterday, I did absolutely nothing beyond drink coffee, finish "A Portrait of a Lady", and visit with Dad, Mom, Roy, and Hannah.
It's good to be back.
